Inspiration for professional florists: the Bohemian Wedding

From mid-Spring through early Autumn is generally the wedding season. And with most societies slowly opening up again, Summer will bring renewed attention to (previously postponed) marriages. Romantic outdoor wedding ceremonies, in particular, will likely be popular!

Ecological and natural styles and themes were already popular in recent years. And the home confinement that the COVID-19 pandemic demanded of us, has only strengthened this trend. The freedom of outdoor life has an immense appeal on modern city dwellers. Expect green, Bohemian themes to stay in demand.

In line with this trend, we want to highlight two gorgeous wedding photoshoots. They emphasize the Bohemian spirit of creative individualism, passion and love of nature:

Free Spirits on the Hippie Trail:

The Bohemian spirit of the nineteenth century also found expression in the hippy movement of the 1960s. Non-conformists were looking for a carefree, nomadic lifestyle that offered more freedom than mainstream society did. ‘Flower power’ meets ‘van life’!

Nature Lovers in the Meadow:

To add to the ecological feel, all the floral arrangements you see here have been made with OASIS® NatureSource™ Floral Foam: a new introduction from the company that is made with 20% biobased ingredients. This fits the modern environmentally-conscious consumer very well.

Please note: the OASIS® NatureSource™ Floral Foam is, for now, only available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. For another sustainable variant, florists can consider the OASIS® Bio Floral Foam that is currently available in the BeNeLux and France.
