Florint will organise a working group at IPM ESSEN 2023 for all the members of International Florist Organisation, in the afternoon of January 26.

The influential IPM horticulture exhibition makes for a great setting to get together and discuss the outlook and plans for 2023.

The topic of our Working Group is: Florint’s Solutions for 2023’s Challenges

Our Working Group meeting will take place at IPM ESSEN 2023 on Thursday, January 26, from 2:30 PM CET to 5:30 PM CET. We will meet in Room D of IPM’s Conference Center East.

What’s in store in 2023

There is a lot on the agenda in the year 2023. Wonderful EUROFLEURS takes place in Slovenia in August for example. And, in the month after, the Interflora World Cup takes place in Manchester – with a team of Florint-certified Judges taking care of the jury process.

The 2023 General Assembly of International Florist Organisation will likely be held alongside EUROFLEURS, as we traditionally organise our members’ congress at the same time as our international championship.

And aside from these crucial events, many issues are currently affecting our industry worldwide.

Inflation has increased rapidly in most countries, affecting all businesses. Energy prices have gone through the roof. Global transport and distribution have yet to fully recover from the COVID pandemic, which is still an active crisis in many regions.

And, on the positive side, important developments are taking place in Florint’s added-value programs; in Education, Craftsmanship as well as Entrepreneurship.

There are plenty of reasons to get together for a good discussion, in other words. Florint’s Direction Committee would love your valuable input, as we make plans for the new year together. We hope to see you face to face at our Working Group!
