The Florist’s Workshop

The ‘Florist’s Workshop’ is the section of our website where florists come to get inspired. Here, we highlight seasonal flora and offer various educational resources, as well as stimulating floral art photos and floral design tutorial videos.

‘Florist’ tricks, tips, and trends’

‘Florist’ tricks, tips, and trends’ is – as the name suggests – a page where we offer short video tutorials by internationally renowned floral arrangers that highlight clever design techniques and/or interesting floristry trends.

Business Resource Centre

The ‘business resource centre’ offers helpful tips related to the florist profession. Here we share with you, every month, a new article from the Society of American Florists’ renowned Floral Management publication, which deals with a vital issue related to the floristry trade. In-depth, insightful reads that usually have to do with the various managerial and organizational competences that are required when running a flower shop.

Best of Social Media’

On the ‘best of social media’ page, you will find weekly highlights of the most popular floral design photos that have been submitted to and featured on our Florint Facebook page. An official ‘Arrangement of the Month’ is also announced every four weeks, based on whose design managed to garner the most likes and shares overall. If you would like to take part, the rules can be found on the same page as well: please do send in some of your favourite floral arrangement work!

The various Flora of the Month

The ‘Flower of the month’ page is where Florint and its partners give the spotlight to a currently in-season flower, which is receiving extra promotion in a number of key European countries. We try to provide you with background information, sales and care tips, as well as Point of Sale promotional material for you to use, for free. That way florists can ‘piggyback’ on the ongoing advertisement campaigns of major players in the sector, and benefit from the generated demand among consumers: a win-win situation!

The ‘houseplant of the month’ and the ‘garden plant of the month’ are the segments where we highlight two seasonal plants in a similar way.

The ‘accessory of the month’ page, lastly, similarly highlights a creative material or container, with tips and examples of how to effectively use it in your floral arrangements. A new accessory is featured every month. We are certain you will get inspired by it!
