In light of the postponement, twice meanwhile, of the EuroSkills 2010 event, it had become clear that a combination of the next general assembly with the EuroSkills competition, as was initially planned, was no longer an option. The Direction Committee of FLORINT was commissioned by the delegates at the 2009 Assembly to look for an alternative to Portugal. After having made an inventory of all potentially interesting events in the months of September and October of 2010, the DC came to the conclusion that going to Bad Nauheim, Germany, was the best possible choice, considering the fact that the national German championship “Goldene Rose” will take place in that city. Having the Assembly on the date of September 25th enables the delegates to combine attending the Assembly with enjoying the spectacle of the Goldene Rose in the most efficient way.
The location where the event will take place is the Hotel Dolce Bad Nauheim, reflecting authentic Art-Nouveau style, and centrally located at the foothills of the Taunus Mountain, just outside Frankfurt.
