“Are you spending a lot of time practicing for the Czech Republic?”
Over the last few months before my props are due to be shipped to the Czech Republic I have been practicing them over many times , giving me the chance to test many varieties of flowers that would be suitable for my designs. This also helps to make sure that I can finish the designs in the required times.
“Do you trust that things will go well, or do you have some worries?”
Yes i think that everything will go well with my competition pieces. But having to ship my flowers and props with another company from the United Kingdom, you will always have worries whether everything will arrive without any problems. I am lucky that my flower supplier is also traveling with all my props and flowers to the Czech Republic. Just to make sure everything arrives in good condition.
“Have you checked out the competition and the jury already?”
Yes i have checked out all the competitors and who would be the jury. Also looking on the internet for extra information.
“Do you know any more about the assignments already?”
The only information i know about any of the assignments is what i have seen in the schedule.
“Have the logistics and the matter of your accommodation there been arranged already?”
Yes all the logistics have been arranged for my props and flowers to arrive on time, as it is a little harder when you have to bring the flowers and props over the channel first. My accommodation was arranged very early with having to arrive a day earlier due to flight times.
“Will the victory in Havirov be yours?”
This competition is one of the most important for me and a wonderful accolade within the European community. Having competed in the Europa Cup in Slovenia in 2007 and being so close, with only 0.4 marks from the top and being placed 4th... This has made me even more eager to be the first British Florist to finally bring the Europa Cup title home to the United Kingdom. This would be the most amazing experience and achievement within my career.
