European judges course
Apart from having a good judging system it was thought being 
of great importance that also attention was given to the level of the judges. It is important that they are not only experienced florists, but preferably have experience in competitions too, speak at least the English language and know how to use the judging system. It was thought to be a good thing if FLORINT would develop a certification system and courses to educate judges on the European / international level.
At the moment a special taskforce is developing a new “international certification system for judges” based upon a competence profile for a professional international judge, to be established by FLORINT. This certification system is expected to be launched in 2010.
Courses on various levels.
On the basis of this competence profile various courses will be developed to educate judges in various aspects of judging. So far several times a basic course has been given, educating judges to use Florint's 100-points judging system properly. These judges are qualified to be a judge at (inter)national competitions, where the 100-points system is applied.
