“Are you spending a lot of time practicing for the Czech Republic?”

Although the Czech Republic is my native country, I constantly discover new things and new interests from our rich history during preparations for each individual discipline. So yes, I spend a lot of time on preparations for the Czech Republic.

“Do you trust that things will go well, or do you have some worries?”

I trust all organization team that everybody acts responsibly, and I wish them to not be surprised by any unpredictable inconveniences or troubles during this event. I am looking forward to competitive disciplines because I have been preparing for them really carefully. I hope that the competition will be held in a friendly spirit because I feel it as a majestic celebration of the floristic profession. 

“Have you checked out the competition and the jury already?”

I am really enthusiastic about the competition therefore I regularly keep an eye on websites and I check all the news. On the other hand, I do not consider a particular make-up of the jury to be the most important thing because I expect the jury to evaluate every performance on either case dead objectively.

“Do you know any more about the assignments already?”

I read up the available propositions, and I can only guess what the secret disciplines will be about.

“Have the logistics and the matter of your accommodation there been arranged already?”

I am really glad I do not have to take care of accommodation because the organisers provide everything in this respect. These days I am working intensively on getting materials for the competitive disciplines and on transport to the place of the event. At the same time me and my assistant are focusing on all necessary details.

“Will the victory in Havirov be yours?”

 It is an honour to me to take part in such a floristic competition and I am really pleased that the Czech Republic pinned its hopes on me. However I must admit that at the time of applying for the national nomination competition I secretly hoped for this possibility.
